1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the inSIG fellow portal at app.insig.in (the "Portal"), operated by inSIG (India School on Internet Governance).

By signing in to or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Code of Conduct, and the Fellowship Terms and Conditions for your edition.

2. Eligibility

The Portal is available only to individuals invited as fellows for the active inSIG edition. Access is provided through email-based one-time password (OTP) authentication tied to your registered fellowship email address.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Portal only for fellowship-related purposes. You must not:

  • Share your login access or OTP codes with others.
  • Attempt to access another fellow's account or data.
  • Upload unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt Portal operations.
  • Use the Portal in any way that violates the inSIG Code of Conduct or applicable law.

4. Harassment and Conduct

Harassment and other unacceptable behaviour are prohibited. The inSIG Code of Conduct Compliance Team (inSIG-CCCT) receives and handles conduct complaints.

To report harassment or conduct concerns:

  • Email insigorganizer@gmail.com or contact the Registration Desk during the event.
  • Contact the inSIG Code of Conduct Compliance Team (inSIG-CCCT).

For privacy-related complaints, contact Anupam Agrawal, inSIG Code of Conduct Compliance Team, at legal@insig.in.

5. User Content

Content you submit through the Portal (for example, meet and greet bio, photo, fun facts, and LinkedIn URL) must be accurate and respectful. You grant inSIG a limited licence to display this content to other fellows during the active program and, unless you opt out, in inSIG Social after fellowship completion as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Privacy and Data Rights

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You may download your data and request deletion of your account from Profile > Privacy and data, or by emailing legal@insig.in.

7. Intellectual Property

inSIG may suspend or revoke Portal access if you breach these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or Fellowship Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the self-service option in the Portal.

9. Disclaimers
